This is one of our premier events of the 2023-24 season and as such will be a full tournament with more rules and regulations being followed. \nOn-site Registration and check in will begin at 10 AM. Registration closes at 11 AM\, and Check In for Pre-Registration closes at 11:30 AM. Any entries after this point will have to take a round 1 loss and will be entered after 12 PM. \nDeck Check begins at 11:30 AM. Round one will start at 12 PM. \nFormat:\nStandard Constructed Format \nSwiss format:\nBest of 1 rounds. 30 min rounds + 3 timely turns \n# of rounds dependent on # of participants per division. \nTop 8 cut for masters. \nTop 8 for Juniors / Seniors dependent on # of participants. \nWe will offer a 30 minute and up to an hour lunch/dinner break for those making the top 8 cut. \nWhat you need:\nPOP! ID & Date of Birth – To earn Play! Points\, set up a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Play! Pokémon Player ID\, set your preferences to opt in to Play! Pokémon programs\, and then participate in Pokémon Leagues and tournaments. Please note that players must choose whether to earn Pokémon TCG or video game Play! Points. \nCompleted 60-card deck list following Standard Constructed Format. Blank deck lists will be provided at the tournament for you to fill out\, but we ask that you bring your deck list with you ahead of time as we will require those deck lists before we start our first round. Begin your investigation into the mysterious murders at Karlov manor and solve the mystery\, before you become the next victim.\nPlayers will sign up on-site and play in a special commander format which includes a special game board as players attempt to investigate the various Ravnica Guilds. \nPlayers should bring their own commander decks to participate.\nPlayers can sign up as early as 12pm and as soon as a pod of 4 is made\, players will be assigned to a play pod. Each player will get 1 play/set booster pack of their choice for participation and 1 bounty play/set booster pack. When a player is eliminated from their table\, they will give the player who eliminated them their bounty pack. Should a player concede or happen to eliminate themself from their table\, their bounty pack goes into a pool that will award their pack(s) to the winner of the pod. This prize structure is being implemented to encourage slightly shorter games.\nThe first 48 participants to sign up for the party will get a copy of the Retro Framed Rogue’s Passage. Their trainers also join the battle with new cards as well as new foil rares for all existing ACE cards! New tamers and Digimon from Digimon Seekers are also included in this set! \nHowever\, 4 Mega Digimon with dark power also arise in this set including Piedmon\, Machinedramon\, Puppetmon\, and MetalSeadramon. DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday December 17th\nStart Time: 1pm\nEnd Time: 4pm\nCost: $7\nSeat Cap: 48 \nCome join us at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy for a casual Commander Party celebrating the newest set The Lost Caverns of Ixalan. Players will sign up on-site and play in a special commander format which includes a special game board as players race to claim Chimli\, the Inner Sun. \nPlayers should bring their own commander decks to participate. \nPlayers can sign up as early as 12pm and as soon as a pod of 4 is made\, players will be assigned to a play pod. Each player will get 1 draft booster pack of their choice for participation and 1 bounty draft booster pack. When a player is eliminated from their table\, they will give the player who eliminated them their bounty pack. Should a player concede or happen to eliminate themself from their table\, their bounty pack goes into a pool that will award their pack(s) to the winner of the pod. This prize structure is being implemented to encourage slightly shorter games. \nThe first 48 participants to sign up for the party will get a copy of the Retro Framed Unclaimed Territory. You may bring a pre-prepared list\, but we will have blank pages available to fill out. \nGreat League format – The Great League only allows Pokémon with a CP (Combat Power) of 1\,500 or lower to participate. These events will operate a “bring-six-pick-three” format. This means that all players will create a team of up to six Pokémon\, of which three will be brought to each game. The six Pokémon in a player’s team must stay the same throughout the tournament. No changes may be made to the Pokémon chosen\, their moves\, their CP\, or any other feature. \nFormat: Best of 3 swiss rounds + Best of 5 top cut based on the total number of players entered. \nPrizing: Each player will get a participation pack for entry and top prizing will be based on the total number of entrants for this event.

Players will be expected to have a written or typed up decklist and standard format legal deck for the purposes of entering this tournament. \nAs a standard event\, players will play a standard constructed tournament consisting of a number of swiss format rounds\, each round being a best 2 out of 3 match with 50 minutes per round. \nPrizing will be tiered based on the number of players.\nAll players will receive a Set Booster pack of The Lost Caverns of Ixalan and a copy of the alternate art Cauldron Familiar for participation.\nPlayers placing in the top 8 will each get a copy of the foil alternate art Dark Petition\nTop winner will get the alternate full art foil Lier\, Disciple of the Drowned card. \nIf we get 8 or fewer players\, there is no top cut and prizes will be distributed accordingly.\nFor 8-16 Players:\nPlayers going X- 2 and not getting into top 8 will get 2 set packs total\nPlayers placing 4-8 will get 4 set packs total\nPlayers placing 3-4 will get 6 set packs in total\n2nd place will get 8 set packs\n1st place will get 15 set packs\nFor 17-32 players:\nPlayers going X- 2 and not getting into top 8 will get 2 set packs total\nPlayers placing 4-8 will get 5 set packs total\nPlayers placing 3-4 will get 9 set packs in total\n2nd place will get 15 set packs\n1st place will get a full box of Set Booster packs.
