In the latest of hit series to hit streaming services, Tales From the Loop has become a must watch show for Amazon Prime subscribers. Different from many recent hits however, is that Tales from the Loop is based not on a comic series or book, but on an RPG!

Tales from the Loop is a fun, interesting and unique RPG in that you are role playing as Kids! Players are a group of teenage friends in the 1980\u2019s that encounter a number of creatures and machines in scenarios or play-throughs called \u201cMysteries\u201d. These beings are present due to an underground particle accelerator in this alternate history that is called the Loop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kid characters are a variety of types that you may have been when you were younger, or perhaps always wanted to be. They include Bookworms, Weirdos, Troublemakers, Hicks, Jocks, Popular Kids and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feeling of this world has been described as a bit of \u201cStranger Things\u201d and a bit of \u201cE.T.\u201d with your hometown containing tons of unusual and fantastic happenings. Adults are out of reach and the game is played collaboratively, scene by scene, utilizing 6 sided dice. It has relatively simple rules and is easy to learn, making both the content and ability to play very kid friendly and a great introduction to RPGs if you want a more science fiction approach instead of the fantasy of Dungeons & Dragons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
