Players will soon find themselves\u00a0immersed in this dark and mysterious plane, where shadows hide untold secrets, and danger lurks around every corner.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Setting: A Haunted World<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Duskmourn introduces players to a plane where the sun has long since set, leaving the world in perpetual dusk. Ancient, crumbling castles, fog-covered forests, and ghost-filled towns dominate the landscape. This set brings a heavy horror theme, reminiscent of MTG\u2019s beloved Innistrad, but with its own distinct flavor\u2014leaning more into psychological terror, haunted ruins, and eerie spectral phenomena.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of Duskmourn is the Mournveil, a mysterious, sentient fog that blankets the world, twisting reality and warping those who wander too close. The plane\u2019s residents live in fear of the fog\u2019s power, while sinister forces seek to harness its magic for their own nefarious purposes.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>New Mechanics:<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Duskmourn brings with it a variety of fresh and terrifying mechanics that shake up gameplay in exciting ways.
