\nWelcome to Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin, your home for comics, board games, collectible card games and much more. Austin\u2019s favorite nerd spot and game store since 1986.<\/p>\n

Striving to become stronger, Pok\u00e9mon of all types are putting everything on the line to become Mega Evolution Pok\u00e9mon ex! Harness the strong aura of Mega Lucario ex, embrace the overflowing power of Mega Gardevoir ex, and team up with more of these powerful Pok\u00e9mon that boast devastating attacks and massive HP. But consider your strategy carefully\u2014extra power brings extra risks! Choose your Pok\u00e9mon partners and prepare for the biggest battles you\u2019ve ever seen in the Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution expansion!<\/p>\n

Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin is happy to host the prerelease for the newest series for Pokemon Trading Card Game.<\/p>\n

Each player will receive a Build & Battle box containing:<\/strong>
\nA 40-Card ready-to-play deck, including 1 of 4 unique foil promo cards
\n4 Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution booster packs
\nA code card for Pokemon TCG Live<\/p>\n

Players will then be given 30 minutes to build a 40 card deck with energy cards provided by the store. Players will then be divided into their age groups and paired with other players for a fun 3 round 30 minute swiss format tournament with best of 1 games with 4 prize cards instead of the normal 6 prize cards due to smaller decks.<\/p>\n

PRIZES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

ALL Players who play at least 2 rounds will get 3 packs of Pokemon TCG: Pokemon TCG: Mega Evolution for playing!
\nThere will also be raffles for various prizes during the rounds including: Pokemon Deckboxes, Pokemon Deck Protectors, Pokemon Playmats and\/or 9 Pocket Pokemon Portfolios!<\/p>\n

There are limited seats per event, please make sure to sign up ahead of time online<\/p>\n

NOTE: 2 rounds of the event must be played in order to receive prize support.
\nNOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A TAKE HOME OPTION FOR THIS EVENT. If you sign up for this event you are expected to attend in person outside of illness or other emergencies.
