Gear up to make stories comic to life with Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin®’s How-To-Make-Comics Summer Camp!
Does your child enjoy telling stories? Is there always a sketch book in their hands? Maybe They’ve expressed a desire to begin a creative journey but don’t know where to start. This summer Dragon’s Lair Austin is offering a Comic Book Creation camp: A week long journey that teaches the process of self publishing your very own comic book. All experience levels welcome.
The camp cover the history of illustration and sequential storytelling, as well as the basics of character creation, story development, industry terminology, physical comic book construction, and publishing. Campers will get a chance to have a Q&A with local comic book industry professionals. By the end of camp, attendees will have the skills to make an original comic book of their very own.

Campers must be able to read, write, and be under the age of 18. Snacks will not be provided, but we do have a concessions corner if they wish to purchase those while at camp.
