Dragon’s Lair Austin
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy®, Austin offers a diverse range of comic book, game and related products in a friendly, professional and fun atmosphere. We sell comic books, games (board, card, roleplaying and miniatures), graphic novels, manga, plush animals (both fantastic and terrestrial) and action figures, as well as a huge number of related items including cosplay supplies.
We are open every night of the week and we offer a healthy variety of events. We have held concerts, mini-conventions, trivia contests and signings from luminaries that include George Takei, Felicia Day and many, many others. On top of this is a very robust regular gaming schedule which you would be welcome to join in for those looking for consistent meetups.
We pride ourselves on having a clean, professional, friendly and customer service centered store. Please come in and join the fun!
MEET THE STORE OWNERS
Angie and Jason Yackley are the owners of Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin. A brother and sister team, Angie and Jason took over ownership of the flagship Austin location in 2015, and have since continued with the tradition of serving the Austin community, fostering a love of gaming and comics in people of all ages and hosting events!

Angie began working at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® in 2006. She made an impression quickly, graduating from clerk to General Manager in just a few short years!
Her favorite thing about being an owner is the joy that the store brings to the community. Everything sold is hobby related, and therefore folks come to Dragon’s Lair to seek out the happiness their hobbies provide. Knowing that people choose what the store sells not because it is a necessity but something they love is very rewarding to her.

Owner: Jason Yackley
Jason joined his sister Angie in her endeavor to take over ownership of the Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin location as she was looking for a business partner, and so he jumped into the industry headfirst! Jason is most gratified by his experience as an owner in being able to provide guests with products they love and enjoy.
