It’s Christmas in July at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin! We are hosting a canned food drive supporting Hope Food Pantry with a store wide Bandai Game Day. Support your local community with donations and be entered to win fabulous prizes all while enjoying your favorite Bandai Trading Card Games.
Every 30 minutes we will be giving away Promos, Posters, and much more for everyone who brings in donations. Here’s how it works:
For every qualifying donation, you will be given a raffle ticket. Names will be drawn randomly throughout the game day and special prizes will be given to the lucky winners. We encourage guests to bring in a variety of items. Here’s a list of the high demand items being asked for by the Hope Food Pantry.
Items Needed: Shelf stable items like breakfast cereal and other breakfast items, cartons of shelf stable milk, cans of vegetables–corn, green beans, peas etc., cans of diced or whole tomatoes, canned fruit, cans of soup/chili/ ravioli, peanut butter (smaller than 18 oz), canned meats-tuna, chicken or salmon, pasta, bags of rice and beans, misc such as pancake/muffin mixes, granola/protein bars, and condiments.
NO GLASS PRODUCTS or OPENED/USED/DUSTY/OLD/DENTED CONTAINERS, and NO EXPIRED ITEMS or PACKAGES OVER 2 POUNDS.
