Welcome to Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin’s Semi-Annual Canmmander event supporting the local Austin Hope Food Pantry! This event is an opportunity for our Magic players to give back to the community while also having a fun day of Commander games!

Participation is free as it will be an open play Commander event where players are welcome to join and play commander games, but we will be accepting donations for raffles where we will be doing drawings during the afternoon for prizes including:

Items Needed: Shelf stable items like breakfast cereal and other breakfast items, cartons of shelf stable milk, cans of vegetables–corn, green beans, peas etc., cans of diced or whole tomatoes, canned fruit, cans of soup/chili/ ravioli, peanut butter (smaller than 18 oz), canned meats-tuna, chicken or salmon, pasta, bags of rice and beans, misc such as pancake/muffin mixes, granola/protein bars, and condiments.

NO GLASS PRODUCTS or OPENED/USED/DUSTY/OLD/DENTED CONTAINERS, and NO EXPIRED ITEMS or INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES OVER 2 POUNDS.

SPECIAL REQUEST: The food pantry has requested some hygiene items so any donations of these items will be worth 2 raffle tickets per item.

RULES: Each acceptable item will receive a raffle ticket.
Small cans (less than 12 oz) may be given 1 ticket for every 2 cans.
Larger cans (56oz+) may be given up to 4 tickets for every can depending on the size of the can
Family Sized items may be given up to 4 tickets for each item depending on the size of the item.
Each 12-16 oz of Pasta will be a raffle ticket
Cake/Pancake/Muffin/Waffle Mixes – 16 oz per raffle ticket
Granola – 8oz per raffle ticket
Hygiene Items – 2 tickets for every 12 oz of hygiene items.
Other items not fitting these categories will be given raffle tickets generally per item.

Donations will be accepted for raffle starting 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Any donations outside of this time frame will be accepted but will not be valid for the raffle prizes.
Raffles will occur beginning at 1:30pm and will occur every 30 min until 5pm.
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING MONETARY DONATIONS FOR THIS RAFFLE.
