Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy is proud to announce our Magic the Gathering: Lord of the Rings – Tales of Middle-Earth Store Championship Modern event. This event will be a regular level Modern tournament.
As a Modern event, players are expected to bring their own constructed decks to the event to play one-on-one games with 60 card minimums for the main deck (up to 15 card sideboard). Players will play a number of swiss rounds dependent on our turnout (9-15 players – 4 rounds / 16+ players – 5 rounds). We will be running a top 8 for this tournament that will be cut after the swiss rounds are completed.
Prizing:
-All participants will get a MTG:Draft Booster and Full-Art Gifted Aetherborn card for participation.
- Players who finish the swiss rounds but do not make it to top 8 cut will get total packs equal to their wins (3 wins = 3 total draft booster packs)
-All players who get into top 8 will receive a copy of Foil Eidolon of the Great Revel
-Players who place 5-8 will get 4 total draft booster packs
-Places 3rd & 4th will get 8 total draft booster packs
-2nd place will get 18 total draft booster packs
-1st place will get their choice of a full box of draft boosters or set boosters of their choice from a standard list. The winner will also get a special full art foil of Saruman of Many Colors.
