Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin is proud to host the prerelease for Magic The Gathering: Reality Fracture. These sealed event will consist of three, 45 minute rounds of swiss, where players will build 40 card decks using the boosters from a prerelease kit. Prize support will be as follows:
Players who play in at least one round of the event will be given two play boosters of Reality Fracture as a participation gift. Any players who win at least two rounds will be given an additional play booster of Reality Fracture. Players who go undefeated during the event will win a total of Four play boosters as well as a Collector Booster of Reality Fracture.
Lastly, during each event, we will be giving away $20 gift cards to lucky players!

**Please note** Wizards of the cost released a statement that indicated there my be some shortages of play booster product during prerelease weekend. Because of this we are preparing for a situation where some (possibly all) prize support will be delayed to those participating in Reality Fracture Prerelease. Vouchers will be given to those whos prize support is effected by this delay.
Below is Wizard’s Official statement:
“Reality (our reality, that is) is not always kind. And the reality of the Panama Canal, of all things, means that some players in North America may experience some tightness around the supply of Reality Fracture Play Boosters in the weeks after the set’s release on October 2, 2026.
The short version is that there is a drought in a freshwater lake in Panama that feeds the canal, and the lower water levels have created a bit of a traffic jam in the canal. One of the ships caught in that naval snarl is carrying a percentage of our Reality Fracture Play Boosters that are headed to North America, so supply will be tighter at launch than anticipated as those boosters make their way through the logjam.
For most stores and players, you’re unlikely to notice an issue during Prerelease weekend or even release weekend. However, the supply of Play Boosters may dry up quickly. We currently expect a replenishment within a few weeks of the release of Reality Fracture. So, there may be a short period after the set’s release where Play Boosters are hard to come by.
Based on current information, we expect this to only affect Play Boosters. All other Reality Fracture products are currently moving on schedule. We will update this article and communicate broadly if the timing changes or if there are any other updates.”
