Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin is proud to host our quarterly store championship for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan!
This tournament will be a regular standard constructed tournament. Players will be expected to have a written or typed up decklist and standard format legal deck for the purposes of entering this tournament.
As a standard event, players will play a standard constructed tournament consisting of a number of swiss format rounds, each round being a best 2 out of 3 match with 50 minutes per round.
Prizing will be tiered based on the number of players.
All players will receive a Set Booster pack of The Lost Caverns of Ixalan and a copy of the alternate art Cauldron Familiar for participation.
Players placing in the top 8 will each get a copy of the foil alternate art Dark Petition
Top winner will get the alternate full art foil Lier, Disciple of the Drowned card.
If we get 8 or fewer players, there is no top cut and prizes will be distributed accordingly.
For 8-16 Players:
Players going X- 2 and not getting into top 8 will get 2 set packs total
Players placing 4-8 will get 4 set packs total
Players placing 3-4 will get 6 set packs in total
2nd place will get 8 set packs
1st place will get 15 set packs
For 17-32 players:
Players going X- 2 and not getting into top 8 will get 2 set packs total
Players placing 4-8 will get 5 set packs total
Players placing 3-4 will get 9 set packs in total
2nd place will get 15 set packs
1st place will get a full box of Set Booster packs.
