The most anticipated comic event of the year is back to it’s regular schedule! Come see us on the first Saturday in May – we’ve got a bunch of cool things happening for you to enjoy alongside tons of free comics to give away.
SCHEDULE
10AM
The doors open and Free Comic Book Day begins! Subscribers who have turned in their FCBD forms (due 4/30/22) will be able to pick up their comics from their folders and do not need to wait in line.
12PM-1PM: Brad with Heroes of Texas Cosplay will be hosting a Cosplay 101 panel
12-1:30PM: Evan Narcisse will be joining us until 1:30pm.
1PM-2:10PM: Cosplay Contest! Our Cosplay Contest will take place for children at 1:00pm-1:30pm and for adults from 1:40-2:10pm. Judges will be in-store. There will be prizes for the top 3 winners!
1-4PM: Our Create-A-Comic Booth will be open for guests to take a printed panel and submit a single-page comic to us. These submissions may be submitted on Social Media or in-store. All submissions must be family friendly.
4PM: Breakdown of bouncy castle and other entertainment. Remaining FCBD books will still be available until the end of the night. Any children’s titles remaining at the end of the day will be donated to Dell Children’s Hospital.

Additionally, we will have giveaways from Monster Energy going on throughout the day for Monster products as well as a Monster cooler. The giveaway for the cooler will be a name entry where a random winner will be drawn at the very end of the night.
