Monster of the Week: Tome of Mysteries

One of the best-selling role-playing games outside of D&D and Pathfinder in 2018, Monster of the Week has been a fantastic introduction into RPG’s, thanks in part to it’s feature in the hit RPG podcast The Adventure Zone. It features accessible one-shot style games calling from sci-fi and supernatural inspiration from iconic TV shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, and The X-Files. Whether you want to fight a demons and vampires or chupacabra, solve a mystery or uncover government conspiracy – Monster of the Week can cover it!

If that wasn’t enough for you, new this week is Monster of the Week: Tome of Mysteries. In addition to the original hunter types of the Crooked, and the Spell-Slinger, you can now play as a Gumshoe, Hex, or Pararomantic. Phenomena can now get even weirder and there’s more magic for you and your players to explore!

Tome of Mysteries also features 29 new mysteries ready to use in your game. Either book is recommended for 2-6 players, ages 12+ and are available at your local Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® for $25 each!
