SDCC 2022 Highlights

July 28, 2022

San Diego Comic Con finally returned last weekend in full force, and boy were there some great announcements made! Although many, many new series, movies and more were revealed, we picked a few of our favorites to highlight for you just in case you missed them!

Sandman (New Trailer) – This new Netflix series based off Neil Gaiman's landmark Sandman series is due to debut on August 5th. We were treated to scenes featuring various characters including Death and Lucifer. This 10 episode series is coming out SOON so be sure to catch up on the source material beforehand.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur – A new clip from the upcoming Disney+ series featuring 13 year old Lunella (Moon Girl) and her T-Rex companion featuring Hanna-Barbera style of animation was released. This all ages show looks like great fun for all ages, and we'll absolutely be checking it out in 2023.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves – Several clips not seen in the official trailer were shown during the convention, including a memorable graveyard scene and some action packed fighting. This star studded film featuring Chris Pine, Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez and more will no doubt have you on the edge of your seat and laughing hysterically. We can't wait until it hits theaters next March!

Marvel was present at SDCC for the first time in years, and revealed a ton of new trailers including She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. They also outlined their plans for wrapping up Phase 5 of the MCU and what's to come in Phase 6. DC also gave us some notable things to look forward to including The Batman 2 and Black Adam.

Come on by this week and let us know what you think of these, and what you're looking forward to most!
