March 22, 2026

Ahh Spring time is just around the corner. The sun is staying up longer, blue-bonnets are popping up this week, and there is a wave of new comics on the way! We looked through 13 weeks of upcoming new comic titles and compiled our top picks for what looks like the best of the best to check out!

LOBO – Releasing Monthly starting March 18th, 2026
Skottie Young & Jorge Corona
DC is ramping up for a new era of their comics, where they’ve given creators the power to publish (mostly) unrestricted and give readers unique fresh stories for fans with a spectrum of familiarity. The Next Level Era is DC’s opener for this Spring season, with a trio of lesser recognized characters entering the spotlight. Greg Rucka reprises Batwoman in her new run, Tony Fleecs helms Deathstroke: The Terminator, and Hallelujah sound the alarm- DC finally got Skottie Young to come over to work with them for the first time ever on LOBO! He and Jorge Corona are a match made in heaven for the interstellar merc. During a DC preview call that we were fortunate to be on, we got to see an early look at Next Level: Lobo and hear Scottie give the most shining praise about DC (and Scott Snider for talking up how it’s the best time to creator under this publisher right now). All the Next Level titles looked exciting, but Lobo really took the cake. Skottie mentioned that DC gave them little restriction on the type of mature story they wanted to run with, and we’re extremely excited to read the slapstick mayhem they’ve cooked up.

DC and Marvel’s Two Part Cross Over with Spider-Man / Superman!
DC’s Superman / Spider-Man, releasing March 25th, 2026
Marvel’s Spider-Man / Superman, releasing April 22nd, 2026

After the success of Batman / Deadpool, Marvel and DC decided “why stop the fun?” and is bringing us a set of one-shots for some feel-good-hopeful-heroism with Spider-Man and Superman! Each one-shot will feature a main story between our favorite newspaper staffers, first being DC’s rendition in March and next being Marvel’s in April. After the main story will be shorter vignettes featuring further cross overs- Daily Planet VS The Daily Bugle, Lois Lane & Mary Jane Watson, John Henry Irons’ VS The Hobgoblin, and Jimmy Olsen & … Carnage?? This historic cross over sounds like the perfect palette cleanser right now.

Daredevil, releasing monthly starting April 1st, 2026
Stephanie Phillips & Lee Garbett
A new era of Daredevil is on the way for superfans and new readers alike, written by the amazing Stephanie Phillips. Not only will Matt Murdock be facing a new career path as a law professor, but also a new foe called Omen. We don’t have much on the mysterious villain just yet, but after seeing the viral TikTok Stephanie posted about her passion project, we can’t help but feel excited with her.

Bizarro: Year None, releasing monthly starting April 1st, 2026
Kevin Smith,  Eric Carrasco, & Nick Pitarra
If the inclusion of Kevin Smith doing a campy Bizarro limited series isn’t enough to prove that DC is the bestest place to create at right now, I’m not sure what else will persuade you. The series follows Superman’s pal Jimmy Olsen and Clark Kent’s boss Perry White on a journey that leads them to a mirror dimension of Metropolis. As they unravel the mystery of this bizarre world, they confront the being behind it all. Is he a misguided Superman fan, an agent of pure chaos, or is he no one at all?
“Me am NOT excited for new comic!” said Bizarro. “Bizarro: Year None am worst thing to happen!”

Godzilla vs. America: Texas, releases May 13th, 2026
Friend of the store, Matt Frank
Hitting as the next entry to the Godzilla vs. America series, the big mutant lizard has it’s sights on the entire Lone Star state! With Texas native & Godzilla super fan Matt Frank helming the project, we know this is going to be a perfect love letter to both. We don’t have much information on this one-shot just yet, but we’re rooting for Matt and can’t wait to see what he’s cooked up!
