GenCon’23 started with its traditional Trade Day, but not in its usual format. In addition to the usual seminars, there was a mini-exhibit hall with stuff to see. Here are some items that caught our interest.
Winterhaven Woods is a game developed by a father to teach his kids the basics of how M:tG works. Protect your animals by placing them in woods, but remember that some animals need special sorts of woods, and some animals might not get along with others. Then use predator cards to eat your opponents animals. A strategy of both protection and predation will score the most points. With luck, this game will be available 4th quarter this year.
